Sony Tablet S and Tablet P to Hit Japan on October 28th

The 3G-enabled Sony Tablet S and Tablet P are set to hit the Japanese market on October 28th.  Both devices will be sold by the Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo. While the 9.4-inch Tablet S has been available in the U.S. ever since mid September, the dual-screen Tablet P has yet to officially launch stateside.

Tablet P and Tablet S are running Android Honeycomb 3.2. They are Sony's first entries to the Honeycomb market which will now be released with mobile broadband versions in Japan.

The Tablet S and Tablet P represent Sony's first major venture into the tablet market. The unique chassis designs allow Sony to standout from the current flood of similar and lookalike Android tablets. Both tablets each include a Tegra 2 APU at their respective cores.
