The Amazon Kindle Fire Android Tablet is about to change the tablet market with its low price point of $199. The media consumption device will be available in the 15th of November and is currently up for pre-order. According to eDataSource, a digital marketing firm, Amazon's first tablet has generated enough publicity that it picked up under 100,000 pre-orders. An estimate basing on a sample of 800,000 email users.
The Kindle Fire, if you can remember, is a 7-inch multitouch IPS display with Gorilla glass protection. The device is powered by a TI OMAP4 dual core processor. It also has 8GB built-in storage, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a stereo speakers and pretty light weighing at 413g. The battery is rated to last for 8 hours of continuous reading and 7.5 hours on video playback. All with WiFi switched off.
