eviGroup Presents Netbook in Tablet Form

eviGroup SmartPaddle

The eviGroup SmartPaddle is  best netbook computer gutted out and transplanted the innards into a tablet form factor. The tablet specs screams netbook but the looks is more of an iPad when you look at its photos.

The SmartPaddle has 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor and 2GB of memory. It also houses a 32GB SSD storage. The tablet boasts 10.2 inch and 1024×600 pixel display. The panel is capacitive and multitouch capable. It has the usual WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, 1.3MP webcam, mini-HDMI connectivity, 3 USB ports, microphone and speakers. It also contains accelerometer.

Battery is rated at 5 hours using Windows 7 Home Premium. The device also has handwriting recognition, voice control software, installed with touch friendly apps including an app launcher you normally find in iPad and other Android devices.

The tablet measures 10″ x 6.7″ x 0.6″ and will sell around 550 Euros. It is highly doubtful that this device will appear in the US as previous eviGroup tablets suggest.
