Samsung Slate 7 Now Available

Samsung Slate 7 tablet now available for pre-order

We are not going to end a day without a news regarding a tablet. Samsung newest non-Galaxy Tab tablet is now available online for pre-orders! The Slate 7 will be one of the few tablets that run Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional, depending on the user. Thus the name "7″. If you remember carefully, Samsung names its Galaxy Tabs based on screen size. The Slate 7 is an 11.6-incher.

The Slate 7 uses an Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5-2467M CPU, 4GB of RAM, 128GB SSD and cameras on the front and the rear. The system scores a 4.5 in WEI, earning 5.8/5.9/4.5/5.4/7.5 in CPU/RAM/Aero/3D/Storage. The specs put this table a league above every other ARM-based tablets out there.

It weighs around 1.89 pound, 12.9mm and should last up to 7 hours. Connectivities include wireless-n, Ethernet, Bluetooth 3.0, mini-HDMI, micro-SD and USB 2.0 ports. No release dates yet. Including its shipment in the US.
