A Look-see on Kupa X11 Tablet PC with Windows 8

The official release of highly-anticipated Windows 8 is fast approaching and a lot of tablet makers have partnered with Microsoft to offer the said operating systems in their products and that includes Kupa. Kupa is showing off their X11 Tablet PC running the Windows 8 operating systems. Providing a fast and fluid touch-browsing experience, simple swipes are all that is required for scrolling from left to right.

The tablet has a pressure sensitive digitizer and 10-point capacitive multi-touch that works to up the productivity game by combining pen and touch input options. It has 10.1″ LED backlight, 1366 x 768 (16:9) WXGA Resolution, and Ambient Light Sensor which automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen in relationship to the level of available light in user's environment. It also has dual-camera: 2MP (front) and 3MP (back). Ports include 2 USB 2.0, 1 mini HDMI, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Furthermore, it has 2GB Ram, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1.

The Kupa X11 has been textured into following dimensions measuring 0.58 inch (14.8 mm) in height, 10.71 inch (272 mm) length, and 7.32 inch (186 mm) width. Kupa X11 weighs 2.04 lb (920 g).

The Kupa X11 is powered by 52Wh lithium-ion polymer battery offering 10 hours continuous operation on a single full charge and supplies the power of 100-240V AC 50/60Hz 1.0A Max.

The basic model with 64GB SSD is going to retail for $699 which isn't bad given the hi-end screen and battery. Adding 3G, GMS and storage up to 128GB takes the price to $999.
