It's a rare thing to hear new chips sneaking out of Intel like a leak in a dam. Now, Intel has a quartet of processors set to appear silently. The two of these chips belong to the Cedar Trail series namely D2500 and D2700. The first one clocks at 1.86GHz and 2.13GHz. The latter one runs at 2.13GHz and 2.4GHz. Both of the chips feature thermal design power of less than 10W. The other two chips sip power immensly: the N2600 has a TDP of less than 3.5W at 1.6GHz/1.86GHz. The N2800 has 6.5WTDP that runs at 1.86GHz or 2.13GHz. All include GPU units with the N2000 series being destined for netbooks. The D2000 series would end on nettops.
