Worth $1.7 Million BlackBerry Playbook Tablets Stolen

Last December 16 when RIM got informed with awful news. According to the Herald Bulletin reports, a truck carrying BlackBerry Playbook tablets going to Ontario, Canada was stolen. The incident happened when the driver stopped at the Pilot Travel Center off State Road 67, West of Interstate 69. It was learned that the lost BB Playbooks cost about 1.7 million dollars.

Prior this occurrence, RIM has actually $485 million of somewhat loss due to the over unsold Playbook tablets these past few weeks. Apparently, the company is open on sharing about its failing and disappointing sales performance lately. In fact, RIM just shipped only 150,000 tablets in the last quarter of the year. Sadly but the BlackBerry might hold the 10 smartphones until the end of 2012, according to the source.

However, even so RIM has continuously receiving tragic performances so far, the BlackBerry fans are still giving  more support on its in-lined products. Let's just see how the company would react and handle its current situation in due time.
