We've heard a lot about Acer Iconia tablets, both official and reported to be launched alike, but not the Acer Iconia Tab A700. Information about this device is so rare that Acer Iconia enthusiasts became ecstatic when it made its way to Russia. NoMobile.ru, a Russian tech site, reports that the 10.1-inch, 1920 x 1200 resolution tablet will make its official debut at CES next month. This resolution is 180 pixels greater than full HD (1920 x 1080).
Below are some points indicated in the review:
- A700 is thinner than it's younger brother, Acer Iconia A200.
- The tablet is bordered by SIM and micro-USB slots, a dedicated rotation lock switch, the standard volume rockers, an audio jack and a micro-HDMI port.
- It is equipped with a high resolution camera of 5MP with flash. The front camera can record video in HD.
- It has a capacitive sensor, which recognizes up to 10 fingers simultaneously.
- It has NVIDIA chip — a quad-core ARM, operating at maximum frequency of 1.3 GHz.
- Wireless interfaces are Wi-Fi (a / b / g / n), Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G.
- The gadget weighs 650 grams.
- It has a 10-hour-long battery, thanks to 9800 mAh battery.
We may have to wait for Acer Iconia Tab A700 a bit longer as it is reported to be in stores on March or even April.
