Smart Devices, a Chinese electronics maker, has introduced a new tablet that runs Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Ten3. The Ten3 tablet has a 1 GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual core processor, a 9.7 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display. It also has front and rear cameras, Bluetooth 4.0, and Power VR GX540 graphics.
Smart Devices' Ten3 runs in China for about 1699 Yuan (or roughly $268).
Smart Devices is also said to be working on a more powerful model called the T20 which will have a 1.5 GHz or 1.8GHz processor.
There's is no news as of yet, however, if this tablet will be offered in the US soon. But who knows! A number of tech geeks were doubtful if Ainol's Novo7 Paladin, also from China, will be offered in the US when it first got out. We'll just wait and see if some retailers will be interested in distributing this device.
