If you got the chance to visit the ever known online trading Ebay last Saturday night, then perhaps you might witness the bidding of one of rarest tablets unseen so far. The HP's 7-inch webOS tablet oddly showed up on the site with a starting bid of $700. However, when the offer got high as about $1,500 the item was suddenly pulled by Ebay. Hence, speculations have been formed if either the HP or a private individual is the seller of that tablet.
The strange tablet owned by HP is called TouchPad Go and codenamed as Opal. The last night's deal was the first appearance of the previously rumored TouchPad Go before the original TouchPad was even released. It's just that former reports with trademark and FCC filings about the release of TouchPad Go leaked a week before HP chose to disregard all manufactured webOS devices last August.
Sadly, HP doesn't make even a follow-up after the former released of the original TouchPad.
