Dell Exits the Netbook Market

Another one bites the dust, Dell is giving up on the netbook market. If you are looking for Dell Mini 9, 10 or Duo you won't find it in the manufacturer's site. The entire 10-inch line-up is totally off the site.

Sad day, Dell quietly made their netbooks unavailable to consumers. This appears to be that the business are still in luck since Dell Latitude 2120 is still available. The $469 price tag isn't attractive still. And when you search for Inspiron 910, this comes out:

Dell is suggesting to people who want netbooks for portability and low cost that take the 14R Inspiron instead. Still it's 14″ and very much expensive compared to netbooks from other companies.

The product page for the Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 shows that the product is also unavailable.

Dell declared that they are not longer making 10-inch and smaller netbooks. Meaning, Dell netbooks with Atom Cedar Trail chips will never see the sunlight.
