Windows 8 will eventually encourage makers to introduce new monitors with touchscreen capabilities. Apparently, most vendors are eager to launch new models with touchscreens come 2012. Since tablets are the new emerging market, it is not a surprise that this new product category rises. But is it enough for consumers to skip a replacement cycle on their notebooks. It is, however, inevitable that touchscreens will be mandatory for laptops next year.
