High Res Ultrabooks to be the Trend

Can you see the future? Probably it would be much detailed than now. Ultrabooks will or should explode next year and there are reports that MacBook Pros are going to feature Retina Display-like resolutions of 2880 x 1800 could be on the way, starting the second quarter of 2012.

Laptop vendors, Acer and ASUS, are already looking to boost their Ultrabook lines from the rest of the pack by offering HD display resolutions of 1920×1080 instead of your typical 1366×768 that is the ugly standard of the ultrabook  models currently.

With this, we could conclude that the next trend in laptops is all about offering high-res displays now that processors are capable of driving them. Samsung and Apple already has higher-res displays for their next-gen tablets. Samsung is planning to release 11.6″ tablet with 2560×1600 resolution. Apple iPad 3 is also coming in 2012 around March and April, with a Retina Display upgrade. If tablets are doing the high-res expect laptops to do the high-res too.
