The launch for Ice Cream Sandwich was supposedly on Jan-Feb window, however, owners of the original ASUS Transformer are still without ICS. It looks like the wait may even be longer as ASUS Singapore has posted on Facebook that they are now looking at a February/March time frame.
Owners of the original hybrid tablet had to wait until the 2nd generation TF201 Transformer Prime got the ICS update because ASUS only has one team working on software updates. On top of that, there was a long holiday due to Chinese New Year.
There is a delay but at least it is confirmed that ASUS Transformer Prime will receive Android 4.0 upgrade soon. We're hopeful that ASUS will be able to deliver the update before Q2.
