ASUS Reveals its K75 17″ Laptop

A new laptop soon to be released by Asus is the K75. It has a size of 17.3 inches and it is packed with powerful functionalities.

The most notable among this is its central processing unit. The K5 will have at its core the third-generation Ivy Bridge processor. Said processor promises to improve computing performance by having tri-gate transistor technology which cuts down on power usage, RAM support for up to 2800 MT/s, and a higher limit of execution units as compared to the Sandy Bridge model. Its processor will give about 20 to 30 percent increase in terms of CPU and GPU performance.

Speaking of GPU, the Asus K5 has a 28 nm NVIDIA Geforce GTX 670M chip. Its chip is popular among gaming enthusiasts and other users who need high graphics performance and thus will deliver sharp and vibrant images on the Asus K5's screen.

The K5 is also equipped with 2TB of storage capacity coupled with up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM. The screen has a pixel display resolution of 1600 × 900. Other features include a choice between a DVD writer or a Blu-ray drive.

There is no word as to the price or when it will be available for consumers.
