Asus and Jay Chou have came up with another redesigned version of the N Series N45 notebook which is now called the N45J Mystic Edition. This comes in a special collectible box, pre-loaded with the Green Hornet star's screensavers and other content exclusively for fans upon first boot up.
This typical N Series multimedia notebook features a wide range of Intel Sandy Bridge processors from the Core i3, i5 and i7 product families, supported by up to 8GB of system memory. Moreover, Intel's processors are paired together with Nvidia GeForce GT 555M dedicated graphics featuring either 1 or 2GB of video buffer. Asus customers can choose between 5400RPM and 7200RPM hard drive models, which top at 750GB. They can also go for a hybrid drive or SSD unit. It comes with DVD burner as standard, but the Blu-ray ODD is optional. Aside from the usual connectivity features, the N45J Mystic Edition has a pair of USB 3.0 ports as well as an HDMI 1.4 video output.
No word on its pricing or availability yet, but the N45J ships with 2-second instant on resume, a technology first deployed with the Asus Zenbooks just a few months back.
