India has now accepting the call for innovation in the technology sector. The Indian government has embraced the undisputed development of mobile personal computers not only for the briskly growing nation but more of an aid for students' education.
Last year, the world's cheapest tablet yet named Aakash has released for about $45. According to a new report, this education-focused tablet has established 1.4 million pre-orders in just two weeks or a rate of 100,000 consumers everyday. Hence, due to the immense success of Aakash tablet, a Delhi-based electronic company, the Classteacher Learning Systems put in a new breed of tablet slate through the launching of Classpads.
The newest Classpad tablet will come up in various sizes including 7, 8 and 10 inches on capacitive touchscreens. The Classpad has a faster processor at 1.3GHz and a larger memory storage of 4GB up to 8GB against the 2GB of the Askash and will also run on Android 2.2 OS.
However, the Classpad tablet will be more expensive at the price range of $140 and $260 or up. Better yet, Indian students can now choose against the improved educational-tablet version for their continuous study.
