The South Korean multi-national company, Samsung, may introduce a Galaxy Tab with 7 inch with a AMOLED display as their Mobile Display division has started production of a 7 inch AMOLED display with a WSVGA resolution of 600×1024 pixel.
It is unclear though on which product or company this display is going. One possibility is that it could be sold to ASUS or Sony. The OLED information website, OLED-Display.net, has insider information that they are planning on using an AMOLED display in their 7 inch tablets. Sony is already using 5 inch AMOLED for the Playstation Vita Gaming console. On the other hand, it is also possible that Samsung itself will introduce a Galaxy Tab with a 7 inch AMOLED Display. The 7 inch AMOLED Panel from SMD features 400 nit brightness compared to the 250 nit brightness of the 7.7 inch AMOLED display.
