HP Mini 110 with New Cedar Trail Now in France

The HP mini 110 will soon be launched with the new Intel Cedar Trail microprocessor. The said processor, which is the latest release of microprocessors from Intel Atom, is expected to speed up the HP netbook.

To start things off, the French Amazon website, amazon.fr, already has models of the HP mini 110 with Atom N2600 and N2800. Said devices run on the Windows 7 Starter platform and are packed with 1 to 2 GB of RAM. It has a 320GB hard disk drive, expandable via cards inserted into the built-in card reader.

The screen of the HP mini 110 measures 10.1 inches, and is backlit by LED lights. The pixel display resolution is 1024 x 600. It also has integrated graphics, a VGA webcam above the screen, and a keyboard which is said to be spill-resistant. It has a built-in wireless adapter (802.11 b/g/n), and 10/100 LAN. Bluetooth is also possible as well as transferring files using, as already mentioned, its media card reader.

The HP mini 110 is powered by a 6-cell battery. For all these, the HP mini 110 with the updated processor costs between $428 and $455 and will be available in February. HP has also announced the integration of the Cedar Trail microprocessor to the HP Mini 210.
