Each BlackBerry PlayBook Model Offered for Just $299

Research in Motion (RIM) has started the new year by promoting its very own Blackberry Playbook for just $299. The sale covers all the tablet's three models including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

Back in 2011 when RIM has offered consumers various Blackberry Playbook prices. Over the past few months, the BB tablet opts to present its 16GB model for just $199, while the 64GB tablet's cost slashed at $299. What's more is that this device has been even sold for $499, the same price as it was first introduced early last year.

The Playbook is a 7-inch tablet with 1024 x 600-pixel display resolution on a 1GHz TI OMAP4 dual-core processor and operated by Blackberry Tablet OS. Though the Backberry Playbook has missed lots of third-apps software, users can still install Playbook OS 2.0 beta or even root the Playbook for Android Market to establish supported Android apps much easier.

The Blackberry Playbook $299 offer is available at the official Blackberry Store. Since other retailer hubs seem to sell the tablet for $499 and up. I might guess all consumers will purchase the 64GB model, the tablet with the highest memory capacity.
