Are you are worried that your netbook will not run Windows 8? Windows 7 is not having really blazing fast in netbooks, how much more the upcoming, pretty-looking Windows 8? Well, during the Build 2011 keynote, Steven Sinofsky, Windows and Windows Live President, shared tat the Lenovo S10 is strong enough to handle the new OS. Surprisingly, Windows 8 will run faster in netbooks than Windows 7. A demonstration showed that Windows 8 uses fewer resources than the Win 7 on the same hardware. Meaning, an early incarnation of Atom and a gig of RAM is enough to host Windows 8. No real life testing is done yet but it is indeed promise that the netbooks will run fine on Windows 8.Source: Engadget
