Earlier this month, we've already covered Sharp's 7-incher of the Galapagos line, the Ao1SH. Now, this tablet is available in Japan and being sold directly from E-Mobile for only 100 yen ($1). The catch of course is that you need to sign up with a certain ISP, otherwise the tablet is being sold at 44,800 yen (around $400). This tablet is Wi-Fi only but it does have Pocket Wi-Fi.
The Galapagos line has three tablets in its roster. Two of which are inclining more to being an e-reader than an entertainment slab. The A01SH is part of the upcoming flood of 7-inch tablets that includes Viewsonic Viewpad 7x, Huawei MediaPad, Acer Iconia Tab A100 and, of course, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.
