The Meego-running netbook, Eee PC x101 is finally up for pre-orders. This Asus netbook already appeared in two online retailer's site at $227, slightly above Asus' promise of $199 price tag. The Asus x101 was rumored to arrive last July, obviously didn't come into fruition, but still able to slip through summer and will debut, most probably, this fall. No official release date yet. But if you are excited, you can preorder the netbook with a single core 1.33GHz Atom N435 processor for $227 or CDW for $210. Those who are looking for the Windows version of this netbook, stay clear and wait for x101H.
