The ViewSonic 7-inch Android tablet called ViewPad 7e is now available in Taipei. For those who are not in Taiwan, you can buy one through Amazon for $199.99.
This 7″ Android 2.3 tablet features a high performance 1GHz processor. The 800×600 multi-touch screen includes RiteTouch technology to accommodate handwriting with a stylus as well as touch input. Other key features include:
- Adobe Flash 10.3 support, 802.11b/g/n networking and Bluetooth connectivity
- Integrated Amazon services
- Dual cameras (3 megapixel auto focus rear-facing camera for photos & videos and 0.3 megapixel camera front-facing webcam for video chat)
- 512MB DDR2 RAM and 4 GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 32GB with Micro SD slot
- Built-in G-sensor and accelerometer for automatic screen rotation
- Built-in apps for streaming media, podcasts, radio, gaming, cloud storage, social networking and more
