Sharp axed the 10-incher and 5-incher Galapagos tablets but the 7″ tablet will remained and has been caught in camera. The Galapagos EB-A71GJ-B is a 7-incher screen. It also runs Android 3.2 and has WiMax support. The tablet and the Wi-Fi and can be used to host other seven other devices.
This tablet has 7-inch screen with a resolution of a measly 1024×600. The chip runs dual core Tegra 2. The unit also includes a gig of memory, a microSD card slot, 8GB of internal storage and also has Bluetooth connectivity. HDMI output for video and surfing the TV is also available. The rear camera has 5 megapixels and the front one has 2MP. It may have Android 4.0 as well.
The original article indicates September 12 but other sources indicate a date around the 12th of December.
