ASUS Eee Pad MeMo Drops the 3D, Available in January

ASUS Eee Pad MeMo has been creating a buzz since it was announced earlier this year due to its 3D capability. Around summer, however, it was rumored that it may not see the light of day though no information was given why so.

According to Netbooknews, CeBit has dropped the 3D and that the ASUS 7-inch tablet is finally going to be heading to market in January.

ASUS prides themselves on having unique designs. The Eee Pad MeMo has a MeMic Bluetooth companion, which can be used to make calls, listen to music via the tablet and act as a media remote. The ASUS Eee Pad MeMo will be offered through carriers.

This 7-incher tablet hopes to be released with Ice Cream Sandwich.
