MSI Introducing New WiMAX Netbooks Next Month

MSi is set to unveil its WiMAX-capable netbooks in next month's Computex trade show in Taiwan. Four models will be introduced: X-Slim X350, the world's slimmest laptop, the X420, the X350's more powerful brother and the latest in MSi's award-winning Wind series, the Wind U135 and 140. They will all be WiMAX-capable, something that is a definite plus as that burgeoning technology starts to emerge on to the world stage.

The X-Slim models are looking to be very nice, both powered the power-saving Intel dual-core CULV processor. The X350's specs make a nice portable netbook, while the X420 has a Radeon graphics card that help it render high-end graphics. The two Wind models are essentially the same, both running on Intel's ATOM processor, with only minor cosmetic differences. Of course, this is just from the initial release. If there are any surprises packed into the them, we have to wait for the next month.
