Asus Makes the Eee PC 1015P Official

Asus just put up the official product page of the Eee PC 1015P which was previously announced during the CeBIT 2010.  So what makes these two new Eee PCs from the rest of the Eee PC family?

First in the Asus  Eee PC 1015 series is  a cloud computing powerhorse as you can see from the publicity poster. You know? – web storage, light, compact, computing anywhere. For this the Eee PC 1015P features the following:

  • Access lets you stream or download a wide variety of exciting digital contents. It includes ASUS @Vibe, Game Park, ASUS WebStorage**** and the ASUS AP Bank.
  • Sharing lets you easier to keep all your photos, music, videos, documents, bookmarks, and more in sync and up to date across all your computers. It includes E-Cam** and Syncables.
  • Xperience features a host of applications that enhance your Eee PC's audio visual performance. It includes Splendid.
  • Tools features a suite of useful tools such as Live update, Font resizer, LocaleMe**, Docking seeting that enhance your Eee PC user experience.

Specs-wise, nothing much has been changed really. You'd get the usual Intel Atom N450 CPU, 10.1-inch LED backlight WSVGA Screen, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 160-320GB HDD, 1GB of RAM (upgradeable up to 2GB), 03.MP webcam, and the round-up of your usual netbook ports.

As for battery life, the official product site for the Eee PC 1015P list down 6-cel battery packs with various battery life. Does this suppose to mean that there will be various models of the Eee PC 1015P?
