Following on from the announcement of AMD powered netbooks by Acer, such as the 521 and 721, the latter model has shown up on Amazon.com. Currently Amazon list the netbook as out of stock but, a price of $429.99 is displayed.
Specs of the Acer Aspire One 721 include an 11.6 inch display, with a resolution of 1366×768, along with the AMD Athlon II Neo CPU and ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics. You also get 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250GB hard drive. A 6 cell battery is included with the netbook and the operating system of choice, is Windows 7 Home Premium, in 64 bit.
