ASUS Transformer Prime Unhackable?

It is almost an impossible task to find a scathing review of the ASUS Transformer Prime in the Internet and or any publications. However, modders over at the XDA Forum found a feature that they really don't like and now they are calling for public shaming campaign of ASUS. The problem they've uncovered is that the Tegra 3 tablet has 128-bit AES encryption to prevent unofficial ROMs from being installed.

Since this is a locked bootloader, the entire Android community will not have the ability to modify and tweak versions of Android installed in the tablet. Locking down the tablet is a strategy often seen in Android smartphones, carriers are hoping to prevent modification of devices with 3G / 4G radios in their devices. However, WiFi-only gadgets aren't exactly hobbled with such restrictions.

Modders would eventually find a way to get around the bootloader, but it won't take long given the nature of 128-bit AES encryption.
