Microsoft Offers Discounted Windows 7 Upgrade for Netbooks

If you felt like you've been shortchanged by the seller where you got your netbook because it only comes with a Windows 7 Starter Kit, well you've got to understand them since it's the only way that they can offer their netbooks at lower prices than most regular notebooks.

But that doesn't mean that you'll deprive yourself of the many features of Windows 7 Home Premium. You can always upgrade your netbook's Starter Kit via Microsoft's "anytime upgrade' offering. Now here's some good news, starting April 4 you can now upgrade your netbook's Windows 7 Starter Kit to Home Premium for a discounted price of $49.99. Regular upgrade usually run at $79.99.  The promo will run until July 3rd in the U.S. but conditions for the gig may vary in other countries.

In addition, if your netbook already has the Windows 7 Home Premium Kit, you can also upgrade it to Windows 7 Professional for a discounted price of $79.99 from the regular price which was $89.99.
