Following on from the rumors that Dell and HP will be pulling out of the netbook game, Dell have come forward and have said that the story is not true but, was part of an April Fools joke by "sources". Consumers do still prefer netbooks over tablets and Dell see the Inspirion Mini 10, as an "important member of our mobile platform portfolio and is a great secondary companion device as people appreciate the compact size and the ability to stay connected on the go".
The Mini 10 still has a lot of life left in it and you can be sure it isn't going anywhere soon. T-Mobile will be offering the netbook up with a data plan, while Clear will offer the netbook with WiMax support later in the year.
