Netbooks may be primarily designed as low cost ultraportable devices for connecting to the web and doing light weight computing tasks. Blogger Lee Mathews, who is no stranger around these parts, recently launched a new site called Minifrag which is devoted to gaming on small form factor devices including netbooks, nettops, and the new crop of 11 and 12 inch mini-laptops with low power processors from Intel and AMD. A growing number of these 11 and 12 inch models have NVIDIA ION or ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics, which makes them capable of playing many games that would make an Intel Atom powered netbook with integrated graphics sputter.
