CNET's Ina Fried managed to test out the upcoming Entourage Edge ereader that doubles up as a netbook for web browsing. Debuting early next year, Entourage Edge features a 9-inch E-Ink screen and a 10-inch LCD touch screen that serves as a netbook.
Ina notes that there are many features that consumers would love about the Entourage Edge including its two screens which can be used to run various Android application. The Edge's ebook reader screen can also be used for taking down notes using a stylus.
Another nifty feature noticed by Ina is the highlighting or annotating features of the ebook reader screen and its ability to read EPUB and PDF files. The device also features the new chip from Marvell.
The Edge also has two mics for recording lectures and noise cancellation feature.
The Entourage Edge is set to debut with a $490 price tag.
