Not so long ago, we reported that Asus is preparing to new Eee PC's that will be featuring Intel's latest Pineview chips – the Eee PC 1005 and Eee PC 1008PE. But as early as now, these two new Eee PCs seemed to have reached the product listings of some retailers and even on the Asus site.
Aside from the Intel Atom Pineview CPU, nothing much will be different from these two netbooks as compared to the existing Eee PC 1008 and 1005.
Significant changes would be on power consumptions since the new CPU is said to consumer less electricity.
The two new Eee PCs will sport 10-inch display and are most likely be updates to the Asus Eee PC Seashell product line. Of course, Windows 7 will both be their OS.
As for possible prices, it is rumored that it will be in the range of 299 to 399 euros.
Expect the Eee PC 1005P and 1008PE to grace the netbook market as early as January 2010, in time for the CES event.
