Intel Gears Up for the Launch of its Apps Store in 2010

Intel seems pretty much excited about its upcoming Netbook apps store which is due for launch sometime in 2010. As early as now, Intel said that many app developers are jumping into their app store and they are responding them pretty quick as well.

In an interview with CNET, Scott Apeland, Intel's Director for Developer Network says:

"Today, you can actually submit applications and get them in validation and be one of the first in the store when we have that available next year. We don't have specific dates. It's how fast we can get it up and ready," says Scottland.

Intel also said that they have already talked with some netbook manufacturer to load their new netbooks' with Intel's app store software. This will quickly give new netbook user immediate access to the apps store.

Intel is pretty much positive about their app store since the netbook market will soon find a new life with the release of netbooks with Pineview processors in 2010.
