Anti-Virus Programs to Keep Your Netbooks Safe and Sound

One low-down of netbooks as compared to your traditional notebook is of course the limited resources you have for running software add-ons such as an anti-virus program. These programs are proven to be power and resources hogs.

So you either take your chances and not bother to install an anti-virus program on your netbook or find a suitable software that requires less power and resources from your netbooks.

Thanksfully, Liliputing found 3 of them and these are:

Microsoft Security Essentials – takes up 60% of your netbook's CPU and 80mb memory when in full work.

Immunet Project – requires only 5Mb of your hard drive space to run this program

Panda Cloud Anti-Virus – low memory footprint  at around 8mb

Honestly, I've not really paid attention to my Eee PC 1000HE's anti-virus software. In fact, it doesn't have one at all.  Maybe I should start looking for an anti-virus program now.
