Samsung has recently sent out a mysterious message to the media that could be hinting at the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 this coming August 15. The event is expected to occur in New York where the South Korean company will host an exclusive press conference.
As for the device, it had been announced at early as February this year during the Mobile World Congress, but since then, Samsung has kept relatively silent about it. In recent months, Samsung had been busy promoting the Samsung Galaxy S III, which is their flagship smartphone for this year in various carriers. Thus, it is quite surprising that the company will soon offer a new device almost immediately after it created so much hype regarding the S III.
For those who are not familiar with Samsung devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the larger version of their successful phone-tablet combination, the Samsung Galaxy Note. It will likely carry the S Pen stylus, a feature which the Note has been known for since its launch.
On a related note, Samsung is also rumored to be preparing to reveal the next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy Note, the Samsung Galaxy Note II. The second Note might be unveiled this coming August 30 at an Unpacked Event in Germany before the IFA electronics trade show.
