Dospara, the Japan-based electronics company, has a new product offering called the Prime Note Altair F-11. This is the second ultrabook that they are launching in a while, the other being the Altair F-5E.
The Prime Note Altair F-11 boasts of a 14-inch glossy LCD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Intel HD 4000 is responsible for its graphics. Inside, it is powered by a 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5-3317U CPU working alongside an Intel HM77 Express Chipset motherboard. Moreover, it has a 64 GB SSD and a 320 GB HDD as well as 8GB of RAM. The device does not carry an optical drive, unfortunately. Windows 7 is its operating system.
For connectivity, the device offers Bluetooth, Wireless LAN IEEE802.11 b / g / n as well as Wired LAN 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T LAN. It furthermore has a headphones jack, microphone input, a 1-megapixel webcam, and multi-card reader. Targeted at Japanese consumers, this device has a Japanese keyboard. A Kensington Lock anti-theft mounting mouth helps keep the device secure. Lastly, it has dimensions of 235 x 344 x 17.9 mm and tips the scale at 1.68 kg with the battery included.
The Prime Note Altair F-11 retails for the price of 57,980 Yen or around US $742. This price covers a one-year warranty from Dospara.
