MacBook Pro with Retina Display will Ship in Two-Three Weeks Time

Those itching to get their hands on the new 15-inch MacBook Pro with the Retina Display may have to wait for only a little while until the device arrives.

Apple has announced on its official website that instead of the three- to four-week waiting time estimate, they have successfully reduced it to just two to three weeks. Apple reportedly made the change to the schedule before Friday last week. It may now be found on Apple's web stores in other parts of the world. This is Apple's shortest waiting time estimate since the middle of June when they announced the product. Both the 2.3 GHz and 2.6 GHz devices are expected to be available after this period.

Meanwhile, those who do not mind having the MacBook Pro with the regular, non-Retina display may purchase the item as it is available at present.

Apple unveiled the new 15-inch MacBook Pro just last month. It dubbed the device, whose price is around $2,199, as their "most beautiful computer". Some of its features include better battery life and flash memory.

A smaller version of this laptop with a display measuring 13 inches diagonally is also rumored to be in the works. Apple has not confirmed its existence, but lately benchmarks test results have been popping up from the 13-inch device. Among its specifications are an Intel Core i7-3520M Ivy Bridge processor with a clock speed of 2.9 GHz as well as 4 GB of DDR3 RAM.
