iPad 3 finally released in China

For most, Apple's latest generation iPad known as the "new iPad" or iPad 3 was released in March. By April, Apple's iPad 3 was available in 57 markets but, China still wasn't one of those markets. The popular tablet has now been released in China though with a pretty low-key launch.

Apple implemented a new reservation system to keep things organised. Customers were able to reserve their iPad yesterday and were assigned a specific time to wait in line. People lined up in Shanghai and Beijing today quietly in front of Apple Stores. One customer said the new reservation system made the process smooth and better, although he wasn't expecting it to be that crowded, not compared to iPhone launches any way.
