You don't hear a lot about the Dell's Latitude line of netbooks, because these machines are aimed at education customers. But Dell has been cranking out minor updates to these little workhorses for the last few years, and Notebook Italia reports that Dell will launch a new mdoel called the Latitude 2120 at CES next week.
The update will bring support for an Intel Atom N550 dual core CPU option as well as an optional Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator.
The rest of the specs appear to be unchanged, with 3 and 6 cell battery options, a 10.1 inch display (with an optional touchscreen), 1 to 2GB of RAM, and the usual smattering of USB, Ethernet, and VGA ports.
What sets the Dell Latitude 2120 apart from most netbooks on the market are the rubberized case and anti-microbial treatment which make the mini-laptop a decent choice for classroom settings.
No word on pricing or availability yet.
