Acer Shows Off The Aspire One 522

Well, here's something from Acer – right on Christmas eve. The Aspire One 522 uses the same shell as the Aspire One D255, but its insides are definitely not the same. The 522 will be using AMD's Fusion platform with the company's C-50 APU with dual 1GHz cores. These are very good power-saving chips and will extend battery life by a lot. Another feature will be the use of integrated Radeon 6250 graphics with full DX11 support with UVD3 for better hardware-accelerated video. The screen will be 10.1 inches. Additional specs include HDMI and VGA out, three USB ports, webcam, and a multi-format card reader.
