Another one for the tablet bandwagon. BenQ, the popular electronics manufacturer, is joining the overcrowded market with its own offering. Called the R100, it will be a 10.1-inch device, with a 1024 x 600 resolution touchscreen and running on Android. It will be packing an 833MHz ARM CPU. It also offer stylus support for handling both simplified and traditional Chinese handwriting.
Additional specs include 8GB of internal storage, an SD slot, mini-USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a mini-HDMI socket are also marked for inclusion. Connectivity options will be an 802.11b/g/n with Bluetooth. No prices or images yet, though – have to wait for the official launch for those.
