MSI Adds a Plus to Wind U100

Of course we all still remember the MSI Wind U100, right? Well if you managed to hold on with your MSI Wind U100 and has been a loyal MSI netbook user, now may be the right time to upgrade your machine. Like what MSI is about to do with the Wind U100.

Unfortunately, MSI is only upgrading its CPU from the N270 to the N280.  At least, that's enough to give you a higher clock speed – 1.66GHz and bus speed of 667MHz.

While this may sound not a good upgrade for current owners of the MSI Wind U100, those who are planning to get a netbook is a sure winner since the price tag of the MSI Wind U100 Plus will still be the same as the U100 minus the Plus.

Or if you don't mind having an N270 CPU on your MSI Wind netbook, you might as well wait for a couple of day after the Wind 100 Plus as we are pretty sure retailers would be adjusting the prices of these old netbooks.

Additionally, the MSI Wind U100 Plus will be available in Rose, Champagne and Metallic Blue colors.
