Vtech's InnoPad Is For The Kids

With the whole range of tablets hitting the market, it should be come as no surprise that some of them are aimed at children. Vtech has just released their InnoPad – a tablet aimed at children to help them in their education.

Featuring a 5-inch touchpanel, a tilt-sensor for gaming control, a microphone and ports for USB, SD cards and a headphone jack, it does less than your normal tablet. Your kid will probably be using this to watch or listen to different forms of media. It's also been designed to handle the stress that most kids put their devices through. However, it depends on learning cartridges or digital downloads for additional support. It can also work as an MP3 player, video player and datebook.

The price tag is set at a cheap $79.99, with additional learning cartridges set at $24.99. Release date is in fall of this year.
