HP Envy line is pretty much the top-of-the-line for HP laptops right now – both in terms of aesthetics and specs. That also means they're pretty damn expensive.
However, HP seems to have gotten the hint and decided to give those with lower budgets a chance at some pretty laptops. The new Pavilion dv6 and dv7 are essentially stripped-down versions of the Envy 14 and 17. The 15.6- and 17.3-inch laptops are now packing Beats Audio Speakers, HD Webcams and light-up touchpads.
They also pack the latest Sandy Bridge CPUs and use AMD's Radeon 6o00M graphics card. It even has USB 3.0 ports and Blu-ray drives. All of these at a starting price of $750 and will be available in March.
