Tesda Netbook with Rotating Display

DSC09267

Here we have another unusual netbook from China courtesy of popular handset maker Tesda. This netbook comes with an attractive polished black finish with blossom motif.

What makes this netbook interesting is the fact that it has display screen that can be rotated by 180 degrees around a vertical axis. The screen also supports touch input. In addition to this, the netbook also sports a dimpled trackpad which was said to be designed to prevent sticky, jerky movements and offer smoother, more accurate control.

Another unusual characteristic of this netbook is the cylindrical protrusion at the rear of the device to acoomodate the battery. The netbook weighs only 1.3kg, so that answers the issue of portability.

Technical specs of the this Tesda netbook include a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, built-in expansion slot, VGA port, card reader, 1.3MP camera, handwriting support and a 10.1-inch display.

There's no word yet as to whether this will be available internationally. It's available now in the Chinese market for around $300.
