Lenovo Ideapad U150 11.6 inch laptop unboxed - Video

u150 unboxed

Lenovo still hasn't officially announced the IdeaPad U150 thin and light laptop in the US (although the company has announced that it will be making an announcement soon). But the Lenovo IdeaPad U150 is already shipping in Japan, and Peter at Netbooked picked one up this weekend.

You can check out his unboxing video after the break. But as a refresher, here's what you get with this laptop: 1.2GHz Intel CULV SU2300 processor, 11.6 inch glossy 1366 x 768 pixel display, GMA 4500MHD graphics, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and a Multitouch touchpad with two distinct buttons for left and right clicks. The laptop has a 6 cell, 57WHr, 7 hour battery and runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

The U150 weighs about 3.3 pounds and measures 0.5 to 1.35 inches thick.

The battery sticks out from the bottom and gives the keyboard a bit of a tilt. All told, the laptop doesn't look  much larger than your typical netbook but it has a faster, dual coe processor and a higher resolution display than most netbooks. The keyboard looks like it could be larger.

Peter also noticed that there are 2 RAM slots (the computer supports up to 8GB of RAM), and an open PCI express slot.
