With all the many things that have happened and continues to happen in the netbook market, it's just about the right time to assess where netbooks are heading as 2010 ushers in. On December 8 2009, that question could probably be answered as the World Netbook Summit happens in Paris.
If you happen to be in Paris on December 8, 2009 you might want to take the opportunity the attende the conference. You might get to meet netbook personalities there especially our friends from Blogee.net, Netbooknews.de and the other foreign-language netbook bloggers.
Although, not much details are in the World Netbook Summit site right now, you might want to check out the site and bookmark to get the latest updates as the Summit comes closer.
Details of the World Netbook Summit:
Salons Latécoère
79 bis avenue Marceau
75 008 Paris – France
The aim of this conference is to review the state of the market, its technology, its key players and its core trends.
The key players will outline their offers, strategies and results:
- the manufacturers of chips and mother boards,
- the ODMs, essentially Taiwanese, who design and produce Netbooks,
- the OEMs who distribute under their trade name,
- software publishers who supply the operating systems and applications for Netbooks,
- telecom operators who distribute these machines and furnish their connectivity functionality.
I would love to attend the Netbook World Summit. Anyone one to sponsor me? :-)
